The information that I've received so far would be of great assistance ... if I were level 5. More emphasis needs to be given for the first week of a citizens life. At that point in a player's game, he can only watch as his wellness goes the tubes as their are very few jobs that will actually pay for Q1 food, let alone any food that would actually increase wellness. Train, and his wellness goes down by two every day! Unless a player is diligent in uncovering the various tricks to balancing health, income, and work/training squirreled away in various posts scattered around the board, they will loose interest and quit, figuring that the game is already nothing more than an on-line ponzi scheme and they're at the bottom. "Welcome exploited worker/meat shield." There should be a post that outlines what a player should do, step by step, over the first week of life.
Second, the GUI for eRepublic is not the most user friendly or intuitive by a long shot (Who would think that "Home" and "Profile" would be different?). Combine that with the shorthand lingo that has evolved between the longer running players and its pretty confusing for the n00b. A topic that explains the main GUI's in detail, rather than the animations the game uses to explain things while blocking out the panel in question would be helpful.
