Thanks for making this topic. I have been playing this game for about 5 days now and have come to enjoy it. I still don't get much of the mechanics of the game and would be grateful I could obtain a mentor type of person to help show me the ropes. I like to play as a mercenary type of character on browser games. You pay me and I do what you ask. I have no interest in the political aspects of this game yet. I do have interest in the economic and society aspects though.

Real Name: Austin (Still refer to me as Rod if you will)
Age: 19
Occupation: Student (Majoring in Mass Communications with a Graphics Design concentration)
Regular Play Time: No set time, though I am on for sessions of 10-60 minutes randomly throughout the day from 1:00 pm to Midnight EST
Other: I also play the browser game samurai of legend. If anyone else does I can help you out on there probably.

My name is Pridurki and I have been playing this game for about 5 days and am intrigued enough to give it a whirl. I second the wanting an biased mentor to help me understand the history of eRepublik and current events. I'm an international affairs major, so this could be good practice for me.

I have a friend in game who is working on writing an eHistory.

Hi, I've been posting to some other topics here already, but figured I should probably introduce myself. I'm Tony Sabatino, both in the game and RL (didn't realize I was picking my "screenname

). I'm very interested in the game based on what I see so far. Mostly, I'll be on early mornings and late evenings, though I can check in on the forums during the day (the actual game site is blocked at my current client

). I've been learning a lot from the more experienced players already, and would like both to (1) meet more and (2) help newer players avoid the mistakes I've made in my first couple of days.
