With the header, Howard gratefully claims it.  Distribution brilliant.  Landon Donovan, there are things on here for the USA.  Can they do it here?  Cross, and Dempsey is denied again!  AND DONOVAN HAS SCORED.  OH CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS! GOAL GOAL USA!

Krems for President.

He's the favourite and will do a kick-ass job, and he can't currently access his account so if he borrows one this will it easier.

Seeing thoughts on this and answering questions~

Keep in mind that it may not succeed as planned the first few times, but keep at it and it'll smooth out eventually.

This is a fantastic idea and should be implemented for every CP election.
Why am I not on this list yet?

People seem to be taking this seriously.

I agree but happy to see if for the next one at least.  This means we have NO reason not help Croatia on the 5th. Zero. So lets make sure we all do our part.

I thought the point of the Presidential election was to have more than one good candidate on the ballot in the event that the elected President needs to resign or gets banned.

Two-clicker votes have decided an election before and I, for one, would feel more comfortable if there was more than one Presidential-level candidate on the ballot.

So while I think it's a great way to free up hundreds of active votes for our Croatian bros, I just want to caution folks that we could be leaving ourselves open to a very bad situation.

On second thought, the non-blocker-POTUS we want will no doubt be #2 if not #1, and from there it's a simple impeachment away from rectifying the situation.

Of course, that's if some PTO Senator doesn't propose an impeachment days before the election. Or if the impeachment proposal doesn't get stuck in pending (oh, Admins...).

Anyhow, while I still think there's risk in electing a blocker POTUS due to two-clickers, I think I'll come out in support of this revolutionary idea ahead of time.

By the way, the top 5 or 6 parties should continue to do this for Party President elections.

I imagine most US cits getting Croat cit will do it day of.  If for some reason it turns out to be a PTO race here domestically, we just won't send them.

The goal here is to give people a chance to cast their vote in two places -- at home a few days before and domestically, where it counts, on the day it counts.

I'm all for this.  The only worry as Astra mentioned is if we need to impeach the official candidate.

Blocker candidates will be people not running but people who are qualified to hold the office.

Example: If Ligtreb had more time, we'd use him.  Stuff like that.

So, people like Inwegen, Hamilton, David Landon, Gagah/Emerick, Astra could be blocker candidates?

Of those you just mentioned I think only Astra would get two-clicked in.

While i have no plans to run for real, I would offer to be a Presidential blocker (and promise to change avatar and write an article telling people not to vote for me).

I love this Swift Fury idea, and I hope it catches on. We need to help Croatia and other allies as much as possible.

I recall us trying this once and it failing due to certain party presidents being selfish asses.  If we can get past that and be mature I could see this being used for all elections.  If not, at least it'll work for this one.

Great stuff.

Party Presidents, take this warning:

If any of you stop this from occurring, I or someone else will try to PTO you.

I don't want a repeat of the last time this country tried something similar.

This is an amazing idea, one problem for me though, the API system doesn't work half the time, quite often I verify and then it takes me to the next page and submit, then it makes me verify again, which means I never get pass the API system which means I can't vote and if I have this problem I'm sure so do others.

I bring this up because I still can't join the discussion forum for my party, which sucks..

What do you mean exactly? There will still be a full election by the people for the people, it will just happen earlier then the 5th, which may single-handidly save our breatheren in croatia.
