Stop defending this dumbass move.  Dumbass move is dumb regardless of explanation, apologies, etc.

Agreed here.

It only serves to allow the enemy's primary propaganda mouthpiece with another forum by which to create drama, disrupt the eUSA and otherwise be the assbag he is.

Honestly, Zoli's trolling is one of the things that define this game. Without him, this game would be even worse than it is now, if that's possible. It's not really propaganda, given that it's rather entertaining, but is otherwise not damaging to our morale at all. That's basically the most important purpose of propaganda. And he's not an assbag, whatever that's even supposed to mean. He's never done anything that I know of which would be characterized as this. Never multied (at least that we know of), rather respectable really.

If you think that isn't OBVIOUS then you all (and particularly you Syrup) are even more penguin bowling stupid than we have ever imagined Congress and the eUSA to be.

Okay, fine, Syrup made a bad decision, which he admitted and apologized for. But why extend it to the rest of Congress as a whole? We have one of the better administrations of the eWorld. After all, where do you get all your funding? ;)

All that I understand so far is he's a Hungarian that wants to PTO our political system and probably destroy our economy.

Except he's not, that's why everyone freaking out is a waste of bandwidth. He did this just so you guys would freak out. I don't think anyone realizes how much of a fool the country looks like for responding like this. The whole world is laughing at us for overreacting like this

Kinda like how you reacted over Peru's stuff, right?

If that example works for, then sure. We look exactly like I did about Peru.

Syrup has balls of steel.

There wasn't that much of a use for approving his citizenship. I mean, it's Zoli, it's sort of obvious that you shouldn't approve his citizenship. And you should have considered the fact that most of the country doesn't understand the irony in Zoli's top-quality propaganda, and would get a rectal prolapse upon hearing about something like this.

However, those aforementioned rectal prolapse victims need to stop worrying. Zoli can't become a congressman if we send in votes to elect the American candidate. And, I'm quite sure that we'd definitely know of a congressional run by Zoli ahead of time and would be able to pool enough ATO voters together. Zoli can't become president unless he gets party support. AFAIK there aren't any clandestine Hungarian parties in the US. And even if there was one that could endorse him, I'm p sure that the government could put out a successful media campaign to tell two-clicking voters that Zoli is a Hungarian. It's not hard at all.

Like Chisholm said, this is just Zoli being Zoli. He's incredibly smart when it comes to pissing off countries, and he's done a really good job this time. Once again, Syrup has balls of steel for being able to withstand people yell and shout at him for a relatively minor thing. High five brah! o/

* Syrup high fives. Hmm, in V2 I guess I have high walls (damn that was a horrible joke)

I hope this thread stays open forever.

Keep it on topic.

It's remarkable we've managed to keep it on topic this far, to be perfectly honest.

Also, Zoli has stayed remarkably quiet about this. I'd imagine he'd be trolling us right now. Any ideas what this means?

Like ive said plenty of times.. Syrup fucked up, the fact we continue to give Zoli the attention in this thread and such.. just makes the situation worse. Zoli is not talking because he is sitting back and laughing at us. So I dare you guys to join me and keep going and keep feeding Zoli.

Please close this too... I know who to not vote for now :) *PiZ* or anyone else who supports kicking Syrup. Fail.

Yeah thats not hypocritical arguing against over-reaction then over-reacting about Voting for President, This has nothing to do with Presidential Elections. Never knew Presidential Candidates were never entitled to their opinions xD

Zoli's trolling is propaganda -- perhaps you should look up the word before trying to tell us what is and isn't an example of it.  And Zoli's trolling had one huge success: the stupid placement of a Q5 hospital in Kansas, which blew 300 gold on nothing and weakened our walls in New Jersey and Florida.  Incidentally, Zoli could continue his trolling, which so entertains you, whether he had citizenship or not, so why you even bothered with this is something of a mystery.

Ultimately, all this "It was for the lulz, lighten up, it's just a game" shit that people always trot out in the face of stupidity misses the point.  Was the US helped or hurt by this approval?  Clearly, by giving the most notorious troll in eRep US citizenship -- a better platform in which to troll from -- it was hurt.  Additionally, one more citizenship request was given to the PTO congresspeople to use.  If you don't care about that, that's your choice and your way of playing the game, but telling other people to "lighten up" is more jackassery.  I play the game to play it well, and so do many other people, and stupid shit like this detracts from my -- and their -- enjoyment of it.

Recruit a new player, teach them to play, and you've just doubled the impact you have on the fortunes of the eUS.

I bothered with it because Harlot called Zoli an assbag, which he isn't.

I joined up after the placement of the hospital in Kansas. How did Zoli affect it?

I like Zoli. He's intelligent and easy to get along with, and I'm sure he thinks this shatstorm is quite funny. But here is what people are worried about: the unknown. Right now Zoli's intentions for getting eUS citizenship is an unknown quantity. This causes people to look at every option and cover every base. Some people rightfully call this freaking out over nothing.

What if Zoli wanted to screw with us? He surely has more than enough friends that would goad him to get into Congress for the 20-something citizenship requests... People will freak out and start planning on running a candidate or blocker in every region for all top five parties, it will be such a mess, and all Zoli has to do to make this happen is mention that this is his intention. That's it. In a way, I'm kinda looking forward to it, it will be glorious chaos.

Let's say he actually would want to run for Congress. Wouldn't be that hard to find a state that could be won for a handful of votes. He could probably even pick up some votes from oblivious American voters. The party voters would rightfully freak out, move to neutralize the threat and in all likelyhood draw their fire from other contested elections. Again, it would be glorious chaos.

And what if he got in? He'd have two dozen citizenship requests, which in all effect would nullify the months of work of the CTF. What's funny is if he won and put his mind to it, he'd probably be a better Senator than half of the ones we vote in by choice. But that doesn't begin to justify how much fail this could become

I can go on and on, but you can get the idea. I would have rather seen a dozen russian bots get cit than Zoli. This was a really dumb move that will cause a lot of bawwing and rage with a minimal effort from the new American citizen. This is why some are rightfully upset.
